EBW: The Movie Director's Cut

I know my next post was supposed to be another review, but I'm adding content that might be a little more important to the people who know me. As you know I work on a written/illustrated journal called Earthbound Pro Wrestling or EBW. I've been doing this as a hobby for years now. In 2009 I got the idea to try and make an animated movie based on the pictures. I had done small animation before, but nothing on this level. It took three months, but I was able to create a 5 Part epic called EBW: The Motion Picture. I have to admit as happy as I was to see it done I was not happy with the end result. I didn't want to break it into parts and I thought the story was lacking in some places, and I wanted to use some different music. That's when I finally set out to make a feature length director's cut. It's now one long movie, with new scenes and new music. I even threw in a scene that will give EBW fans some nostalgia. It's based on an animation I had done a year or so prior. I basically recreated about 50% of it to fit the movie. I'm proud of this end result. This is the definitive cut of my vision and I hope you all enjoy it.

The T'nT Marathon and EBW!

We just got through with our five days of The T'nT Show. I am tired, and my throat is killing me....to say the least. The marathon was a success though. We put on some good shows, made some revenue, and saw some great wrestling and MMA action. WWE is stepping it up....maybe it's just me.....but they are getting better. I give credit to the recently rehired Freddie Prinze Jr. We also saw the end of the supposedly unstoppable reign of Brock Lesnar in UFC, as Cain Velasquez dethroned him in less then one round....wow...was not expecting that. It was a great week. I finally got some EBW done during the last broadcast too...that's always awesome. I've learned a couple things this week. I hate the sound of my own voice, Tack Angel is a cool dude, and I miss Tali. I know she's right there watching, but if I don't get a chance to talk to her personally it just feels....off. Great shows though, and I'm looking forward to getting back to the show after a quick rest. We'll be back with a bit of a gimmick for Impact. when I go out of my way to play a heel and Tack plays the face....what a stretch I know. WWF Invasion 2001 Review coming soon.

Machismo Reviews: WWF St. Valentine's Day Massacre

WWF: St. Valentine's Day Massacre. I remember this PPV well. It was the day before my birthday, and this was the first PPV I had ordered in quite a while. I remember being bored by my last PPV purchase, so this was one I was not expecting to like other then the Cage Match Main Event that would see Stone Cold Steve Austin take on Vince McMahon, with the WM Title Match on the line. This was an In Your House PPV, but they started to take the emphasis off that fact right around this time in 1999. This was also the time when Sunday Night Heat still mattered. Funny how things change in a decade or so. In a Dark Match the team of Too Cool beat the Hardy Boyz. That's kind of bizarre to imagine in this day and age. Viscera beat Test and Debra beat Ivory in the Sunday Night Heat matches. The first match of the PPV was Goldust vs. Bluedust.....you can imagine the shenanigans so I will move on. Bob Holly beat Al Snow in a Hardcore Title Match that ended outside of the arena. Quite humorous. Big Boss Man beat Mideon and NO ONE CARED! Owen Hart and Double J beat the team of D-Lo and Mizark in a Tag Title Match. I miss both of those teams. Forgot how awesome Owen and Double J were together. You come to appreciate the heels later in life I think. Val Venis lifted the IC belt from Ken Shamrock, with help from Bad Ass Billy Gunn, who was serving as special referee. Triple H and X-Pac of DX lost to Kane and Chyna of The Corporation. This one had to hurt Trips, as Chyna pinned him following a chokeslam from Kane. Since they may have been bumping uglies at the time it may be no big deal. Mankind and Rock had one of their classic matches, when they fought to a Draw in a Last Man Standing Match over the WWF Championship that Mankind was holding at the time. In the main event Stone Cold won the cage match with Vince, after some accidental help from Paul Wight, who would later become The Big Show. By accident I meant that Big Show popped out from under the ring to help Vince, but he tossed Stone Cold into the cage wall so hard that it swung open and Austin landed on the ground to get the escape. This was actually a very entertaining show for me. I was on the edge of my seat for the main event, and loved seeing McMahon take a beating. When Big Show popped up my heart sank, but when Austin won anyway I jumped for joy. It did what it needed to do, and it got me excited for what would happen next. I don't want to cover it too much in case you actually missed that one, but I give it 3 1/2 Stars out of 5.

More about TnT and Reviews coming soon!

I am still reeling from last night. Tack and I were broadcasting the Friday Night Smackdown episode of The T'nT show (AKA Friday Night Tackdown), and we kept at it for nearly 8 HOURS! I don't know how in the hell we filled up so much time, but we kept a consistent audience. For some reason our most watched show was an episode of impact/reaction that was nothing but 3 hours of promos. Ironically Impact also scored a 1.4 for that night a very high number for them.....go figure. So tonight The T'nT Show will be covering UFC 120 on Spike TV. I made my picks on the show last night, but I can't remember them all. I did pick Sexyama to beat Bisping though.

Expect to start seeing some reviews from me soon. I'm thinking I will start with Wrestling and MMA Video/DVD reviews. My first review will be WWF St. Valentine's Day Massacre from 1999.

TnT on TNA!

Tack Angel and I had our second TnT Show, in which we covered TNA: IMPACT. It was a horrible show unless you're a fan of soap operas. TNA....not TnT. Tack and I basically covered 3 hours of NOTHING and almost made it "entertainment" enough. Tack's a cool dude. Glad we're working on this show together. Glad we're bringing in a lot of fans too. I hope everyone enjoys the show. Especially glad I've got Tali tuning in. She honors me with her presence. I'm probably gonna push my other projects on this blog, but I also intend to do some reviews and such in the future. Added some more ads on the bottom of the page. I can't ASK you to click them everyday....can't ask for that favor. Seriously though you might find some cool stuff so check it all out. I apologize for the shamefulness. Tee Hee Hee!

So....stuff is going on.

I've got a lot to work on lately and I'm loving every minute of it. I've EBW and FTW to work on and I've now got The TnT Show. Great hobbies I think. I didn't know whether I should write this out as if no one has heard of these projects, but then again anyone who reads my stuff will know exactly what I'm talking about. Still....here are some links. EBW: Earthbound Wrestling Super Sports Entertainment: For Teh Win! The TnT Show
So yeah, I've got some stuff keeping me busy. I definitely hope you all check out my zany projects. The TnT Show will be broadcasting its second episode tonight (Thursday) as we cover the wrestling show TNA: Impact. I might post my thoughts on the show and some extra review points on this blog. That may be part of my shtick here. Hey, I've gotta give you guys a reason to stop by and click on my ads after all.

In the beginning......

So yeah, I'm thinking it's time I make a blog too. A place where I can rant and rave and people may or may not be actually reading. IT'S AWESOMESAUCE! This is a place where I will discuss the craziness rattling around in my head as well as push and promote my Ustream show with Tack Angel called The TnT Show. So yeah....that's what this is all about.....yeah
